![]() Never played the first 2 games, although i tried, didn't charm me.Dreamfall Chapters draws both from science and mythology and remixes that knowledge to explore metaphysical themes. 10/5 why are you still here? shoo! stop wasting the time that's better spent playing this game! 5/5 you should at least give it a try, it's great, i promise 3/5 it's not my cup of tea, but maybe i'm just not the target audience 2/5 it's bad and i am calling you out on having bad taste if you end up liking it 1/5 no sane person would consider this game good 0/5 in any and all conceivable ways this is garbage not worth your time and/or money personally i'd advise you to wait for a discount but i'm poor, so either ask your sugar daddy or your parents to buy it, or wait for a big fat discount never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down~ at least one more playthrough is necessary if you'll have liked it, you might revisit it dreadful (my fellow russians will find it very reminiscent of their everyday life) right from the start you can tell you're going to cry at some point cozy and sweet (goes well with a cup of tea) attempted old school but skipped classes headphone users and speakers lovers, it's time for some listening honey, pass me my hearing aid, i think i might've gone completely deaf makes you wonder if our world is also just a game it's too good to notice if it has any flaws unnecessarily complicated but ultimately boring you can forget about fixing your sleep schedule if it was a book, it would be a bestseller simplicity is the ultimate sophistication not my kind of story but it's a story alright if you can assemble ikea furniture, you're good to go you might as well just join an esports team i mean, who needs reality anyway, am i right? ![]() cures your boredom, engages your mind and leaves you wanting more everything is made out of rubber and silicone the 90s called and they want their polygons back careful, you might confuse it with reality just a quick glance out the window and you'll be fine you'll want to go stare at some leaves afterwards You can also check my review for The Longest Journey (in Brazilian Portuguese) and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey If you enjoy story heavy games with a great atmosphere, do yourself a favor and play all of them, in order. It's no exaggeration when I say that these games helped shape the way I think and even feel about life, even though they're not THAT deep - compared to other adventure games. Not only that, but Dreamfall Chapters was gifted to me by a person I love dearly, so yeah, you can say that I'm in no shape to write a logical review of this game, since I feel so much joy just thinking about all of it. The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey were the first games I bought on steam 10+ years ago when they were on a bundle sale, and I'm so glad I've got to experience it all. Ok, this review is going to be a bit different than the usual reviews I write, and there's a reason behind it: this is the end - at least for now - of a trilogy of games that I love fondly. Start with The Longest Journey, then Dreamfall: The longest Journey, ending with Dreamfall Chapters.
